5 things I've achieved

I've always been a person with big dreams but had little confidence in myself in achieving them. It's funny to think about all the things i have managed to achieve that i never thought were possible for myself. Sometimes it's good to sit back and think about all the things you've managed to do (however big or small) and hold onto the feeling you had when you managed to achieve them, to not just inspire you to keep challenging yourself but to also remind yourself how good it feels when you've done them.

Here are 5 thinks I've been proud of myself for achieving:

1. Travelling across the world on my own with no real plans. I'll actually be moving there within the next 6 months!
(*)
2. Surviving a long-distance relationship (thanks to Skype and Whatsapp!)
(*)
3. Delivering many presentations throughout university that i absolutely dreaded! Intellectual confidence and social anxiety are things that i still struggle with.
(*)
4. Becoming more and more informed that taking care of myself is so important for both my physical and mental health. Last year i managed to reach my peak in terms of fitness and health. I definatley need to get back to that level. This is one of my main goals after i've completed my dissertation.
(*)
5. Maintaining special relationships. Spending time with close ones is so important. Knowing you did everything possible to make someone's life happy and comfortable gives me so much joy.
(*)
So there's a few things i'm proud of achieving! What's something you're happy to have achieved?

  3. Great things! It for sure it good to think about things that you've achieved, and writing them down helps you when ever feeling down :) I have the same with Intellectual confidence! I always have the feeling that everybody thinks I'm talking absolute bullshit and they know so much more about the subject, but in the end it's all about perspective :) Travelling the world is just great! And so impressive about the long-term relationship, I don't think I would be able to cope! You go girl! :)

    1. I definitely agree. Writing them down makes you realise just how far you've come along. Eurgh- tell me about it! I open my mouth and my mind just tells me I'm talking absolute nonsense and that everyone around me is thinking what the hell is she on about. Thanks! Travelling really is great and definitely broadens your horizons. The long-distance relationship definitely was a challenge but somehow I got through it :) Thanks for stopping by Saska! x
